Tanah Lot is one of the mother temples of Bali and is Bali's most photographed spot. This is one of them most breathtaking and romantic sunsets spots in Bali as well as having a fascinating history and spiritual relevance to the island. When Tanah Lot was first built it stood on connecting land to the mainland although due to being built on a finger of harder rock then the surrounding rock the surrounding land has been weathered away leaving just the base of the Tanah Lot as a separate island that is now only reachable at low tide. The locals maintain that due to Tanah Lot's holiness the gods have spared in where the rest of the land has not. From here you head to the Money forest of Alas Kedaton, which is located in a beautiful area with local tropical country villages nearby, and traditional rice padi sights the roll along the hills for miles from this area. Here you can witness the monkeys and the giant bats in their wild territory although they have become tamer due to familiarization with human contact. This experiences is unforgettable and an excellent way to raise awareness towards the struggling amazing creature in this area of the world.

After this the transport will transfer you to Tanah Lot, an incredibly spiritual and beautiful area that by this point will visible with the sun sinking below and casting a deep red light over the eerie building. If the tide is low it is possible to walk up to the gate and view the temple from a close where as if the tide is in then the water runs around the entire building making ideal photographing opportunities. After this the shuttle will head back to your private hotel at 18.30.
