Umalas Stable Horseback Riding is located in the Umalas area north of Seminyak and is the first real area where the tourism thins out into the natural tropical countryside of Bali. This is a perfect area to enjoy horseback riding as there it is close to most of the tourist areas of South Bali and yet offers a peaceful and serine beach area to enjoy the freedom of horse riding. Distances from the airport and are very small and the incredible life of Seminyak is not far to indulge in some dinning or refreshments before or after the riding experience. The riding is not only o the beach but also takes you through the natural tropical woodlands of Bali and the rice padi areas offering you the full experience of the natural and traditional Bali that cannot be experienced from the southern tourist areas. You will pass through traditional villages and pas temples where there will be Balinese ceremonies taking place and you will no doubt receive friendly looks and smiles from the locals of the area as you pas through.

There is no need to have any previous experience of horse riding to take part in the Umalas Stable Horseback Riding tour as it is designed to be enjoyable for all abilities although if you are an experienced rider then there are opportunities to canter and gallop within the run and even do some small cross country style jumps within the run. Umalas Stable Horseback Riding tour offers a full practice and instruction in the beginning of the meet and instruction will continue throughout the practice. The guides are very experienced, patient and friendly making an easy introduction into the equestrian world and where in the world better to experience this then in the tropical paradise of Bali. There is always a guide who follows the walk on foot to assist the group and all guides are trained in first aid although accidents are very rare and always minor with Umalas Stable Horseback Riding. The horses used are very forgiving and well trained making this even easier for beginners.

There is a selection of different Horseback Riding tours available including rides from one hour up to full three hour treks as well as courses for those who wish to continue riding beyond the beginner period return home as an experienced rider. Not only is this an inexpensive way to be introduced to the sport it is also a very beautiful and memorable way to being. There is the option to ride ponies for any children who wish to take part on the tours and routes as well and the deals are flexible and able to be worked around your plans for the rest of your holiday. There are morning rides that usually begin at 7 or 8am and afternoon rides that will carry you through the beautiful Balinese sunsets on the west coast of the island. It is recommended that all riders where long pants and strong shoes it is also possible to have a guide lead your horse personally if you desire.
